Washington Avenue

2240 Washington Avenue is a 6-story low-income housing tax credit apartment building located in the East Tremont neighborhood in Bronx, NY. Built from the ground up, this building has two 6-story wings with 80 supportive housing units and basement level offices. One wing includes studio apartments for homeless men and women living with mental illness.  The other wing has a dormitory layout and is a therapeutic community for formerly homeless men recovering from addiction or substance abuse. The project boasts an Eco-friendly, green building design for maximum energy efficiency.
